MARMA RABBIT BOY has been selected in VENTANA MADRID (2024), was selected in the prestigious TORINO FILM LAB EXTENDED-TFL (2022), which was held in Matadero, Madrid. It obtained a double Official Selection at the IBERSERIES & PLATINO INDUSTRIA (2022) Pitch Sessions (Secuoya Studios and Dopamine). It was doubly awarded in the II TALLER DE IMPULSO (Government of Cantabria, November 2021), being invited to the European Film Market in Berlin (2023) and to the MAFIZ of the Malaga Film Festival (2022). Received development grants from the Provincial Council of Alava and development grants from the Basque Government (2022). With production grants from the Government of Cantabria (2023). Project with Official Selection in the NETWORKING CANTABRIA//EUSKADI Conferences within the framework of the 64th Edition of ZINEBI (2022). Official Selection in the 16th PITCHING "I&P IDEAS PARA PRODUCIR" of the Clúster Audiovisual Galego (2022).
DEVELOPMENT
ANANDA is Roberto R. Céspedes' third feature film project as writer, director and co-producer. Feature film project with a national co-production with BIXAGU ENTERTAINMENT by Iñaki Gómez (producer of LA ERMITA).
It is a Neo-Western Zen that narrates the escape and emancipation of a young Japanese women in the 19th century.
With hints of horror and magical realism. In a northern, nocturnal environment, full of mystery.
Project selected in the 5th DCP TALLER DE IMPULSO (2024), in the II TROBADA DE TALENT of the X Festival GALACTICAT of Tàrrega (2023) and in the First Edition of EL LAB DEL NORTE (2022), being the project supervised during the Lab by the screenwriter and film director Santiago Fillol (co-screenwriter of O QUE ARDE).
The project is in the middle stage of development.
